Single men and women between the ages 21 and 30 who are open, honest, communicative, flexible, willing to serve and be served are encouraged to apply. While the majority of members may be people of faith, this is not a requirement for program participation.
We are an intentionally small program located in Pittsburgh, Pa. This means limited space.
Applications accepted on a rolling basis; preference given applications received prior to June 1 for an August start.
Members serve for one year. The program begins in mid-August with a week-long orientation and ends the following July.
Application process includes completing online application, uploading resume and goal statements, interview with program staff, interview with placement agency, complete paperwork. Applicants are also invited and encouraged to “come and see” current members (optional).
Applicants will be invited to dialogue about their discernment with program staff. Applicants will know of their acceptance within one week.
