Support for the Change A Heart Program comes from the Sisters of St. Francis, foundations, businesses and the generosity of many individuals.
Why support Change A Heart?
The experience of serving as a Change A Heart member is life changing both for our members and for those in need in western Pennsylvania. Your support helps us increase services to the vulnerable by empowering young adults to work to alleviate suffering and eliminate the causes of poverty. Through the shared values of community living, sharing spirituality, living a simple lifestyle modeled after Saints Francis and Clare, and serving with those who are in need, members live in right relationship with God, one another and all of creation.

Our expenses:
The main purpose of Change A Heart is to inspire and train young leaders and provide services to vulnerable individuals. To do this, Change A Heart expenses are reflected in the following manner:

Speak to our members.
- We invite you to speak at a retreat on topics of community, simple living, spirituality or social justice. If you are interested in graciously giving your time, please contact program staff.

Attend our Hearts & Hands Gala.
- This annual celebration is held in November as a way to introduce current members to their support network; and vice versa.
